Falls are not an inevitable part of ageing or of disability and you can learn effective strategies to reduce the risk. Falls Prevention is a short session which provides an understanding of falls, risks and strategies to support those at risk.
By learning how to reduce the risk of falls and injury from falls during care and in the community, you can help to enhance the independence and wellbeing of older people and people with disability.
This program is particularly suited to people working with or supporting the elderly and people with disabilities.
